The Bharat Jodo Nyay Yatra, set to begin on January 14, 2024, and culminate on March 20, 2024, embarks on a journey across 14 states and 85 districts. Distinguished from the previous walking-centric Yatra, this expedition is predominantly vehicle-based, incorporating walking segments in certain areas. This strategic approach aims to offer a different yet enriching experience, ensuring wider reach and varied interactions compared to the last Yatra.
In collaboration with the Bharat Jodo Abhiyan, this Yatra is a testament to unity and collective action. It allows a space for expression on critical national and local issues over a span of 6,713 kilometers, involving 100 Lok Sabha constituencies and 337 assembly segments. The blend of vehicle travel and walking is designed to facilitate extensive engagement with communities across the nation.
Civil society plays a crucial role in this Yatra. Members are encouraged to participate by welcoming Yatra participants at their designated spots and along the route. This active involvement of civil society, intellectuals, and citizens is pivotal in enriching the dialogue and contributing to societal improvement.
